📋 Product Description

This seed was bred as an improvement to pea Onward. It is an excellent maincrop variety which produces heavy yields of juicy plump marrowfat peas. They show resistance to powdery mildew which helps with later sowings. They are compact which makes them ideal for exposed locations or smaller gardens. Easy to grow and versatile, peas and beans make a delicious and nutritious addition to any meal. As well as being a traditional side, legumes also provide a terrific source of protein for a vegan diet. Peas and broad beans prefer cool conditions but need to be grown in full sun or partial shade.

Short on space? Many varieties are well suited to growing in plant pots. Ideally you do not want to overcook either peas or beans, keeping just a touch of crispness.
